North Puget Sound Chapter History
The North Puget Sound Chapter “Nasty North” was formed as a break away chapter from the Puget Sound Chapter (Original Chapter). The chapter was formed to ease the travel from Oak Harbor to Seattle for meetings and gatherings, but also to engage the military community “North of Seattle”. Thanks to the effort put forth by the original Brothers of NPS (Desperado, Pilot, Grizzly, Renegade, Chinook, Smak and Tatts), the North Puget Sound Chapter was chartered in November 2007. Their hard work and dedication will not be forgotten. Brother Smak is the only current Charter member who remains active with NPS.
The “Nasty North” is comprised of Brothers and Sisters with like minds of riding motorcycles and assisting Veteran Organizations North of Seattle and Island areas. The Chapter has members located in Oak Harbor and along the northern I-5 corridor from Everett north. We are always open to people with like minds in hopes of becoming something greater than themselves. It takes work and effort to earn membership into this Brotherhood/Sisterhood. This is an endeavor that we do not take lightly and is never given freely.
The North Puget Sound Chapter is a strong and successful Chapter that has provided excellent growth within BIAMC by providing two former National Officers.
The North Puget Sound Chapter continues to grow and strives for success. We support many different Veterans programs with the goal of giving back to those who have and continue to give so much to this great country.
